LYUDMILA TRUE LIP COLOR TREATMENTS
The Lip Contour treatment is great for making your lips stand out, but in a subtle way. The lip line contour will add definition to the natural shape of your lips. The pigment color may be mixed to create a more natural looking subtle color, or a bolder look that creates more contrast.
The Lip Blush treatment is often the best option for those who want to add more color to their lips while still having a very natural and youthful look. Pigments are available in a wide assortment of shades and may be blended to match your lip color and preferences. The right amount of the right color can add definition, correct any asymmetry, camouflage scars, and give your lips a complete revival.
The Full Lips treatment adds maximum color, shape, and definition. Pigment is applied consistently over the entire lip area to create a bold look, similar to what you get when using lipstick. Pigment color is customized to your preference. If needed, I can help you choose a color that will best compliment your features. If you wear lipstick every day and would like to have that same look, this may be the best option for you.
The first step is a consultation appointment during which we discuss what you would like to achieve as an end result, and all the details of the procedure that will get you there. I take the time to explain everything to you in detail an answer all of your questions. We decide on the color, shape, and overall look you would like to attain.
Before we begin, I will confirm everything with you to make sure that we are on the same page. I will apply a safe topical anaesthetic to the areas where we will add pigment.
3. The Procedure
It usually takes me about two hours to complete the procedure. The amount of time it takes varies depending on the procedure. Once I am done applying pigment, I will check your lips with you to make sure you are satisfied with the look.
4. After Procedure Care
It is normal for the color to fade during healing. Please follow the after care guide that I will provide for you. The guide lists some things to avoid after treatment. Examples include: swimming, spicy or acidic foods, and any kind of lip makeup.
5. Refining Session
You will need to return after four weeks for the required Refining Session. It is included in the price, and it is not optional. During the Refining Session, I will make any final adjustments if needed, and I will replace any pigment that was lost during healing. You will not see as much fading after the Refining Session, but you still need to follow the after care guide during healing.
Although fading happens most rapidly during healing, there will still be some very gradual fading after healing. The fading should not be noticeable for at least 9 months to a year, and for some people the color may last longer. Once you are ready to freshen up the color, you can schedule a color boost.
How long does the color last?
The the pigment fades out gradually over time, at a different rate for different people. For most people, it lasts about two years with proper care. In the few weeks after the Initial Procedure, the color saturation will noticeably reduce, which is why you must come in a second time for the required Refining Session. The Refining Session is included in the price, and it needs to be done four weeks after the Initial Procedure. I also provide a care guide with advice on how to reduce fading.
Does it hurt at all to have this done?
To keep your comfortable during the procedure, I will apply a topical anesthetic cream the lip area. If you feel any discomfort whatsoever, please let me know and I can reapply the numbing cream if needed.
Is the procedure safe?
My cleanliness and safety standards exceed the requirements for membership in the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. I have extensive training and have passed all required health and safety exams.
Will my lip color fade once they are healed?
The color may appear darker than you are used to for a few days, then will lighten into the desired color within two weeks. Please follow after care instructions and return for the Refining Session (included in the price of the treatment) within two months.
Is there recovery time after getting a True Lip treatment?
There is no recovery time, however the lip liner/color will take about a week to heal. The color may appear darker than you are used to for a few days, then will lighten into the desired color within two weeks. Please follow after care instructions and return for the Refining Session (included in the price of the treatment) within four to five weeks.
Is permanent makeup really permanent?
It is permanent in that some amount of pigment will still be there even after years of fading. The color lasts longer for some people, and not quite as long for others. That said, you likely will need to come back again to freshen it up at some point after 9 to 24 months.
